Hi my name is Dan Amyot and I am a 19 year old Graphic & Web Designer from Montréal, welcome to my Web Portfolio. This site showcases my best work from my personal work and the Publication Design & Hypermedia Technology program at John Abbott College. I was born in Hudson QC and have lived my entire life here. I graduated Westwood High School (or as some people, like me, call it Hudson High School) in 2008 and started John Abbott the next school year.
I first found an interest in design in high school through the help of online Photoshop tutorials. When it came time to look for a CEGEP program I saw the PDHT booth at John Abbott and instantly knew this is what I wanted to study. 3 years later I am organizing my graduating portfolio and haven't regretted anything about my choice in programs. After I graduate I hope to find a job in the design field and gain more real world experience. At some point I would also like to gain a bachelors degree in design.
